David L. Hauck

Bio

David L. Hauck is a graduate of the University of Virginia (1976) and Emory University School of Law (1980). He became an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the County of Chesterfield, Virginia in 1985, and represented that office in developing a cooperative program between the prosecutor’s office and the Chesterfield Police Crash Team. As an on-site advisor, he participated in the investigation and prosecution of all cases involving serious injury and/or fatality. In 1987, Mr. Hauck worked with the County Attorney as a litigator in civil actions involving Chesterfield County, and represented the Board of Zoning Appeals and the Planning Commission. Mr. Hauck formerly served as Vice-Chairman of the Third District Committee of the Virginia State Bar and has been appointed a substitute judge for the 13th Judicial Circuit. He has served on the Executive Committee for the Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Bar Association and is a past President.  He currently handles personal injury cases, criminal and traffic defense, and cases involving arson and fraud.  Besides membership in the Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar, Mr. Hauck is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, Richmond Bar Association, Richmond Criminal Bar Association, and Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.
