Caroline has been trying cases since her fifth month at the bar. A talented and experienced trial lawyer, she has taken over 90 cases to verdict and litigated hundreds of cases in almost every jurisdiction in Virginia, as well as in courts throughout North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, and New York.

A partner at DHDGC, Caroline has broad experience handling complex casualty claims, class action litigation, toxic and environmental torts, wrongful death actions, fraud claims, as well as commercial and professional liability disputes and defamation litigation. She has represented clients in state and federal courts, before the Virginia Board of Medicine, the Virginia Board of Nursing, and argued cases before the Virginia Supreme Court and the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.

A tireless and tenacious advocate, Caroline is a results-driven litigator who brings an energetic and dynamic approach to achieving her clients' goals while delivering excellent client service.  Caroline began her trial career on the defense side and this experience allows her to utilize a nuanced understanding of defense strategies and techniques to her personal injury clients' ultimate advantage, especially in the area of traumatic brain injuries and the diseases they can cause.

Caroline has extensive experience litigating brain injury cases – on both the plaintiff and defense sides -- and is well versed in the long-term effects of head trauma and concussions, including chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), and the permanent and progressive nature of these injuries and the diseases they can cause. She has also witnessed first-hand the impact head traumas have caused in her clients' lives and the devastating effects to the families and loved ones of the individuals who have suffered these injuries.

Currently, Caroline devotes approximately 35% of her practice to the representation of professional athletes, including NFL, NHL, and NBA players.

Caroline graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics and obtained her law degree from the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law.
